klai (p. 96) கிறேன், ந்தேன், வேன், ய, v. n. To disperse--as an assembly, a defeated army, a herd pursued by dogs--as birds, clouds, &c.; to become separated from a company, &c.; to decamp, withdraw, quit, desert, குலைய. 2. To jar, to be discordant--as a noise, musical string or instrument, இராகமயங்க. 3. To be frustrated, to fail in accomplishment, எண்ணங்கலைய. 4. To slide from one tune into another by mistake, to go out of tune--as an instrument, இராகங்கலைய. மனவெண்ணங்கலைந்துபோக, inf. To be absent in mind. 2.
