A cook, one who boils his own rice and lives by himself in a niggardly way. பொங்கலிட--பொங்கல்பொங்க, inf. To boil rice without straining out the water in which it has been boiled. 2. To boil rice for a religious purpose-also பொங்கல்போட. பொங்கல்வரிசை, s.
