āṟṟu (p. 43) கிறேன், ஆற்றினேன், வேன், ஆற்ற, v. a. To cool, refresh, குளிரச்செய்ய. 2. To assuage, appease, alleviate, soothe, console, compose, lull, mitigate, தணிக்க. 3. To slack, loosen what is tied or twisted, முறுக்குத்தளர்த்த. (c.) 4. (p.) To do, act, perform a duty, செய்ய. 5. To bear a weight, தாங்க. 6. To carry, or sustain a burden or calamity, பொறுக்க.--Note. This verb is sometimes used impersonally--as இந்த வழியென்னாலேயாற்றாது. I cannot get along this road. ஆற்ற, inf. [used adverbially.] Greatly, exceedingly, மிகுதியாய். அமிழ்தினுமாற்றவினிதே. What cannot be borne, intolerableness--as ஆற்றாமை. ஆற்றாமை, neg. v. noun. Inability to bear--as excessive hunger, pain, &c., சகிக்கக்கூடாமை. 2. Impatience, பொறா மை. 3. Voracity, voraciousness, insatiableness, திருத்தியின்மை. ஆற்றார், s. Foes, opponents, rivals, those who envy one, பகைவர். 2. The poor, the afflicted, தரித்திரர். (p.) ஆற்றிக்கொடுக்க, inf. ஊட்டு
ūṭṭu (p. 69) கிறேன், ஊட்டினேன், வே ன், ஊட்ட, v. a. To put into the mouth-as of children, sick people, &c., உண்பிக்க. 2. To deal out food--as a wife to her husband, &c., to impart, cherish, உணவுகொடுக்க. 3. To entertain a guest, &c., விருந்திட. 4. To saturate, infuse, steep, impregnate, tincture, புகைமுதலியவூட்ட. 5. என்
eṉ (p. 75) கிறேன், றேன், பேன், என்ன, v. a. To say, name, pronounce, express, do, indicate, either by words or signs, expressed, or implied, என்றுசொல்ல. This is the common form for quotation, in which sense it generally occurs in all its various uses. In the infinitive and other parts it is commonly found with one ன் only. என்கு. I say. என்கும். We say. என்ப--என்பர்--என்மர்--என்மனார்--என்றிசினோ ர். They say, they may say, some say, &c. அப்படியென்கிறான். So he says. 2. He does so (the speaker making the sign or sound intended). இல்லையென்கிறேன். I say no-implying impatience, displeasure, emphasis, &c. பணமில்லையென்கிறான். He says he has no money. போவென்கிறேன். I tell you to go, lit. I say go, and implying I have said so before. அவனைப்போவென்னப்போகிறான். When I say go, he goes. காமதேனுவென்கிறபசு. The cow (of the supernals) called Kamadhanu. நானென்னுமெண்ணம். Self conceit, consequence. என்பவன், appel. n. He who says so. 2. He who is called so. பெரியானென்பவன். Perian, or he who is called Perian. ஆவென்ன, inf. To open the mouth, lit. to say ஆ. ஈயென்ன, inf. To show the teeth, lit. to say ஈ. என்பிக்க, inf. To cause another to say, to prove, சொல்லுவிக்க. அதையவன்வாயினாலேயுமக்கென்பிப்பேன். I will prove it to you from his mouth. என்று. The gerund of the verb என், used instead of என the infinitive (which is the poetic usage in this connexion), it serves to end a quotation and to connect it with the following part of the sentence, in which case it often corresponds to the conjunction that, வினையெச்சம். அவனையடித்தேனென்றுசொன்னான். He said that he struck him, lit. he said, I struck him. Note 1st. In connexion with appropriate verbs, என்று, and என often mean to expect, to think, imagine, to suppose, to pretend, to desire, எண்ணுதல் or some such verb being implied; பணந் தெய்வமென்றுநடக்கிறான், he makes money his god; அதுபுகையென்றிருந்தேன், I thought it was smoke, I took it for smoke; அவர்வருவாரென்றிருக்கிறேன், I expect him to come; அவன்சொன்னானென்றுவந்தாயா, have you came because he told you?--Note 2d. According to நன்னூல், என்று and என are இடைச்சொல் or particles, with several specific uses, the other parts of the verb are or may be included. 1. With பெயர் or names; அழுக்காறெனவொரு பாவி, the sinner called envy. (குறள்.) 2. With குறிப்பு or symbolic forms; சிக்கென வூன்றியவேர், the root which has taken firm hold; திடீரெனவந்தான், he came suddenly. 3. With இசை or (imitative) sounds; ஒல்லெனவொலித்தது, it sounded ஒல்; அடுக் கு or repititive symbolic terms are included in this class; படபடென்றுநடுங்கி னான், he trembled (shook, shivered, &c.) greatly; சுஃஃறென்னுந்தண்டோட்டுப்பெண் ணை, the palmyras whose green leaves rustled (emitted the sound of சுஃஃறு). 4. With எண் enumeration, in which they are equivalent to the copulative conjunction; சாத்தனெனக்கொற்றனெனப்பூதனெ னமூவரும்வந்தார், Sattan, Kottan and Bhuta came; தேனென்றுபாலென்றுவமையில்லாமொழி, words unequalled (in sweetness) by honey or milk. 5. With பண்பு or symbolic terms expressive of quality and intensity; சிவேரெனச்சிவந்தது, it reddened to a crimson; வெள்ளெனவா, come in the grey of the morning; வெள்ளெனவி ளர்த்தது, it became very white.--Note 3d. என்று and என also serve to express similitude, like, as, &c.; புலியெனப்பாய்ந் தான், he sprang like a tiger; காந்தளெனக் கைநீட்டி, extending her காந்தள்-like hand. --Note 4th. என and என்று are also used to express pre-eminence, &c.; இன்னதென் றில்லை, it is no matter which; ஆரென்றுநி னைத்தாய், who do you suppose I am? I am not to be treated thus, &c., உயிரென் றுபார்க்கவில்லை, he does not (or did not) regard even life; அவனுக்கின்னாரென்றில்லை, it is no matter to him who; குருவென் றுபேணுகின்றிலன், he does not respect even the guru; எவ்வளவென்றில்லை, it is no matter how much. 2. How much soever, how little soever. 3. It is illimitable, undefined, the quantity is unknown; வாய்வயிறென்றுபார்க்கிறதில்லை, he does not give himself time to eat.--Note 5th. என and என்று are also used with reiterative symbolic terms; மடம்டென்றொலித்த து, it sounded மட, மட; அடியடியென்றடித் தான், he beat him soundly; தலைதலையென்ற டித்துக்கொண்டான், he beat his head greatly through rage, grief, despair, &c.; lit. saying, 'Head, head;' வாய்வாயென்றடிக்க, to beat one's mouth greatly--in sorrow, despair, &c.; எறியெறியென்றெறிந்தான், he threw many times; lit. he threw, saying, 'Throw, throw.'--Note 6th. என and என்று, with a dative imply, designed or appointed for, sacred or devoted to, for the sake of, &c.; சுவாமிக்கென்றுநேர்ந் தது, it is vowed (devoted) to God; தன்பிள்ளைக்கென்றுவைத்துக்கொண்டான், he kept it for his child; எனக்கென்றெடுக்கமாட் டேன், I will not take it for myself-Note 7th. The subjunctive என்றால் joined to verbs or used when verbs are implied forms the subjunctive of those verbs.--Note 8th. The subjunctive என் னில், poetically, என்னின், if, is contracted into எனில் and எனின், and in classical usage to எல் and என்: உம் joined to those forms makes them though; they are added to other verbs or to nouns; ஓரடி யென்கிலும்நட, walk, if it be but one step. 40)

eri (p. 73) கிறது, ந்தது, யும், எரிய, v. n. To glow, shine, give light, பிரகாசிக்க. 2. To burn, ignite; to be injured, or consumed by fire, to be scorched, to flame, அழல. 3. To burn--as a sore, or fever; to smart, to be inflamed, புண்முதலியவெரிய. 4. To be envious, jealous, to fret, be peevish, பொறா மைகொள்ள. 6. To burn as the stomach with hunger, வயிறெரிய. 7. To suffer pain --as from a heavy load on the head, &c., தலைமுதலியனவெரிய. (c.) அடுப்பெரிகிறது. The fire upon the hearth burns. மந்தமெரிந்துபோனது. The indigestion has ceased, lit. is burnt up. நட்சத்திரமெரிந்துவிழுகின்றது. A star glows and falls. நான்தின்றதெல்லாமெரிந்துபோயிற்று. The food I took has digested. 2. I am so pained by what you said that the food I have eaten seems as nothing. 3. The food I took has digested by means of enchantment, medicines, &c. வயிறெரிகின்றது. My bowels are inflamed for food. 2. I am in distress, yearning, &c. அவன்பட்டதை நினைக்கிறபொழுது என்வயிறெரிகிற து. My bowels are inflamed when I think of what he suffered. கணகணென்றெரிகிறது. It burns with excessive heat. அவனெரிபொரியென்றுவிழுகிறான். He breaks out with rage and fury, lit. saying, Burn him, fry him. எரிகரும்பு, s. Fagots, விறகு. (c.) எரிகுடல், s. A canine appetite, எரிவயிறு. (c.) எரிகுடலன், s. One who is always craving for food, தீபனமுள்ளவன். எரிகுன்மம், s. A stomachic disease, excessive heat, head-ache, &c., ஓர்நோய். எரிகொள்ளி, s. A fire-brand, கொள்ளிக்கட்டை. எரிசினம், s. Burning anger, கடுங் கோபம். எரிநரகம், s. The burning hell, ஓர்நரகம்--in distinction from others. எரிபடுவன், s. A burning ulcer or cancer, பிளவை. எரிபந்தம், s. A burning torch, a flambeau, தீவர்த்தி. 2. A kind of burning sensation all over the system from disease, எரிச்சல். எரிபிடாரி, s. An enraged or furious demoness, எரிதுர்க்கை. 2. A peevish, or fretful person-spoken disparagingly, எரிச்சலுடையவள். எரிபுழு, s. A kind of brownish, yellow caterpillar, the sight of which on leaving home, &c., is regarded as propitious, கம்பளப்பூச்சியினோர்வகை. எரிபூச்சி, s. A flying insect which, on contact, emits moisture that causes a burning smart and a discoloring of the skin, ஓர்பூச்சி. எரிமணி, s. Sparkling jewels, bright gems, பிரகாசமுள்ளமணி. எரிமுகி, s. A tree, the milk of whose seeds is pungent and caustic, and being indelible, is used in marking, சேங் கொட்டைமரம், Semicarpus anacardium. எரியவிழிக்க, inf. To look fiercely having the eyes flaming with rage, கோ பத்தோடுபார்க்க. எரிவண்டு, s. The Mylabris or blistering beetle, ஓர்வகைவண்டு. 2. An insect which strikes against the eye-ball inducing severe smarting, கண்ணிலடிக்கும் வண்டு. எரிவந்தம், s. A burning sensation in the body, எரிபந்தம். 2. (Met.) Anger, wrath, எரிச்சல். எரிவனம், s. A burning place for the dead, சுடுகாடு. எரிவரியன், s. A snake of the viper kind. பற்றியெரிய, inf. To take fire. எரிப்பு, v. noun. Burning, ignition, எரிவு. 2. s. Envy, jealousy, peevishness, malice, rancor, பொறாமை. 3. Satiety, nausea, நெஞ்செரிப்பு. எரிப்புக்காரன்--எரிப்புள்ளவன், s. An envious, impatient, peevish, or irritable person, பொறாமையுடையவன். எரிப்பெடுக்க, inf. To be peevish, cynical, querulous, எரிப்புண்டாக. ஓரெரிப்பாயெரிக்க, inf. To keep a fire burning, to heat continually--as in preparing medicines. ஓரெரிப்பாயெரித்துப்போட்டான்... He consumed it at one burning. 2. He has utterly destroyed (the family, town, &c., by injustice, oppression, &c.). எரியல், v. noun. Burning, எரிவு. 2. [prov.] That which is burnt--as food, at the bottom of a vessel in cooking, எரிந்தது. எரிவு, v. noun. Burning, ignition, எரிகை. 2. s. Heat in the system, smarting, pungency, inflammation, உடலெரிவு 3. Envy, jealousy, resentment, பொறாமை. 4. Fretting, displeasure, anger, irritation of body and mind, கோபம். கண்ணெரிவு, s. Burning of the eyes. கையெரிவு, s. Burning of the hands. காலெரிவு, s. ericcl (p. 73) s. A burning sensation in the stomach from hunger, &c., எரிவு. 2. Envy, jealousy, unkindness, spitefulness, பொறாமை. 3. Anger, fury, indignation, moroseness, கோபம். 4. Acerbity, pungency --as of some kinds of fruits, உறைப்பு. 5. Chagrin, மனவெரிவு; [ex எரி.] என்மேலவன்மிகவுமெரிச்சலாயிருக்கிறான். He is very jealous of me; he is very angry with me. எரிச்சலாக்க, inf. auviym (p. 84) s. Envy, பொறாமை. (p.) ஔவியநெஞ்சத்தானாக்கமுஞ்செவ்வியான்கேடுநினை க்கப்படும். The prosperity of the envious and adversity of the ingenuous will be pondered by the wise as things mysterious. ஔவியம்பேசேல். Don't speak enviously. (ஔவை.) ஔவிக்க, inf. To be envious, பொறாமையடைய. A short low dwarfish thing, thing grown short by use, worn off--as a pen, &c., தேய்ந்தது. 5. A lifeless body, உடல். 6. Defect, imperfection, inferiority, குறைவு. 7. The refuse or residuum of கேழ்வரகு, தினை and சாயவேர் root after pounding and sifting, திப்பி. 8. Roughness of the beard after shaving, மயிர் க்கட்டை. இந்தச்சீலையகலக்கட்டை. This cloth is narrow. இதுமுழக்கட்டையானசீலை. This cloth is deficient in length and breadth. அந்தமரத்திற்கிந்தமரங்கட்டை. This piece of timber is shorter than that. கல்வியிலவன்கட்டை. [prov.] He is deficient in learning. கட்டைகடாவ, inf. To fasten a splinter or pointed stick, &c. கட்டைக்காலி, s. [prov. vul.] A bear, கரடி--as short legged--and sometimes applied to women, cows, &c. கட்டைக்குரல், s. [prov.] A weak voice, கம்மினகுரல். கட்டைக்குருத்து, s. [prov.] The last tender leaf of a plantain which envelopes the sheath or blossom and shoots out a little before it. கட்டைநெருப்பு, s. Coal fire. கட்டைப்புத்தி, s. Shallow wit, weak intellect, stupidity, தடிப்புத்தி. கட்டையடிக்க, inf. To pass a stick through a plucked jack-fruit to ripen it, ஆப்படிக்க. 2. To hurt the foot against a stump by striking on it, காலிற்கட்டையிடற. 3. To drive a stake into the ground to tie animals to, முளைகடாவ. கட்டையன், s. (fem. கட்டைச்சி.) A short person, குறளன். கட்டைவாக்கு, s. Dimness in a precious stone, இரத்தினத்தின்மங்கலொளி. கட்டைவிரல், s. The thumb or great toe, காலின்பெருவிரல். கட்டைவைத்தல், v. noun. [prov.] Collecting the stones in the hand in the game of கொக்கான். 2. Gaining in the game of singing verses. See ஈற்றெழுத்துக்கவி. முகக்கட்டை--மோக்கட்டை-முகவாய்க்கட்டை--மோவாய்க்கட்டை, s. The chin. எள்ளுக்கட்டை--எட்கட்டை, s. The stubble or stumps of Indian sesamum. 42)

kṇ (p. 89) s. The eye, விழி. 2. A hollow mark or spot, குழி. 3. A roundish hole, orifice, crevice, cavity, aperture, துவாரம். 4. A knot or point in a tree, கணு. 5. (p.) A bamboo, மூங்கில். 6. Place, location, situation, இடம். 7. A form of the locative case--that employed in grammatical examples, &c., ஏழனுருபு. 8. Kindness, benignity, graciousness, protection, கண்ணோட் டம். 9. Greatness, பெருமை. கண்கண்டதுகைசெய்யும். What the eye has seen the hand may do; i. e. we learn by observation. கண்காணநடந்தசெய்தி. Any event that happened before one's eyes. கண்ணிலேகாணப்படாது. I hate the very sight of him. 2. Even the sight of it is injurious; i. e. prejudicial--spoken where mutual animosity exists--as in the kite and snake, &c. 3. (p.) It will not appear to the eye. கண்ணிலேகுத்துகிறதோ. Does it hurt your eyes? why do you envy me, &c. கண்ணுக்கின்பமானபொருள். That which is delectable to the eye. கண்ணுக்குக்கண்ணானவன். One as precious or dear as the eye. கண்ணுக்குப்புண்ணுமல்லக்காண்பார்க்குநோயுமல் ல. There is no wound to be seen, nor any visible symptoms of disease; the sickness, if real, is internal. கண்ணுக்குள்ளேநிற்கின்றது. It is fixed in my eyes, imagination, &c.-- as a departed friend, a thing lost, &c. இராசாவுக்குக்கண்மந்திரி. A counsellor is the eye of the king. அண்டைவீட்டுச்சண்டைகண்ணுக்குக்குளிர்ச்சி.... The quarrels of neighbors are gratifying to the eyes of the instigator. என்கண்ணே. [An expression of endearment.] Oh, thou, my eyes; i. e. my darling. இறந்தனையோஎன்கண்ணேஎன்னுயிரேஅபிமாவின் றென்செய்தாயே. Ah! Abima, my eyes, my life, art thou dead! whence this cruel deed? (பார.) அவன்கண்ணவிந்துபோயிற்று. He has lost his sight. அவன்கண்ணிலேபட்டேன். I suffer from his eye, his evil eye is upon me, he envies me. கட்கட்டி, s. [prov.] As கண்கட்டி. கட்செவி, s. A snake--its eyes being considered the organs of hearing as well as of sight, பாம்பு. A disease of the eye, cataract. கண்காட்சி, s. Vision, sight, பார் வை. 2. A gratifying or pleasant sight, a pageant, spectacle, show, கண்ணுக்குச்சிற ப்பு. 3. A prodigy, அதிசயம். 4. [ironically.] A disgusting ungainly sight, துக் கக்காட்சி. கண்காணம், s. Oversight, inspection, watch, மேல்விசாரிப்பு. கண்காணக்காரன்--கண்காணச்சே வகன், s. A watchman. கண்காணஞ்செலுத்த--கண்காணம் பண்ண, inf. To superintend, watch. கண்காணம்வைக்க, inf. To appoint an inspector, to set a watch. கண்காணி, s. An inspector, an overseer, a supervisor, an agent, மேல்வி சாரிப்புக்காரன். 2. One who looks after the subordinates in a government office, சிரே ஷ்டாதிகாரி. 3. [In Christ. usage.] A bishop, அத்தியட்சர். கண்காணிக்க, inf. To oversee, supervise, superintend, மேல்விசாரணைசெய் ய. கண்காணிப்பு, v. noun. Oversight, supervision. கண்காந்தல், v. noun. The hot sensation of the eyes caused by neglecting to bathe, by disease, &c., கண் ணெரிவு. கண்காரர், s. Persons who sit before a conjurer, looking at the magical paint without winking, and to whom the discoveries are made, அஞ்ச னம்பார்ப்போர். கண்குத்திபாம்பு, s. A bright green snake that is said to strike at the eye, the eye-snake; a whip-snake. கண்குவளை, s. The socket of the eye, கட்குழி. கண்குழிதல், v. noun. Sinking of the eyes by disease, emaciation, &c. கண்குளிரப்பார்க்க, inf. To refresh the eyes by viewing a pleasing object--as a dear child, &c., to feast the eyes. கண்குளிர்ச்சி, v. noun. Refreshing, gratifying, pleasing to the sight. கண்குறிப்பு, s. A significant expression of the eye, கண்சமிக்கை. கண்கூச, inf. To see obscurely from the eyes being dazzled. 2. To be weak-sighted, tender-eyed. கண்கூடு, s. Socket of the eye, கண்குவளை. 2. A thing in sight, ocular demonstration, பிரத்தியட்சம். கண்கூடாய், adv. Evidently, demonstrably. கண்கூர்மை, s. Sharpness of sight. கண்கூலி, s. A present for finding a thing lost. கண்கெட, inf. To be struck blind. 2. adv. In spite of one's own sight, to the destruction of one's own eyes, &c. கண்கெடச்செய்ய, inf. To do what one knows to be wrong--as presenting defiled food to an idol, friend, &c. கண்கெடப்பேச, inf. To falsify the evidence of one's own eyes in delivering testimony, &c. கண்கெட்டதெய்வம், s. The blind deity--a profane and familiar phrase among the vulgar used in seasons of distress. கண்கொள்ளாக்காட்சி, s. A great or wonderful object, a thing over-powering to the sight, அதிசயக்காட்சி. கண்சமிக்கை, s. A wink with the eyes. கண்சாடை, s. A winking at, taking faint notice of, &c. கண்சாய்ப்பு, s. A side-look in displeasure. 2. Connivance. 3. Partiality, favor shown by a wink, &c. கண்சாய்ப்பாய்ப்பார்க்க, inf. To look jealously, to have an evil eye. கண்சாய்ப்பாயிருக்க, inf. To overlook, be partial in judgment, to connive. கண்சிமிட்ட, inf. To make a signal with the eye. 2. To wink, to twinkle through weakness of eyes. கண்சிமிட்டு, s. A signal of the eye. கண்சுருட்ட, inf. To entice one by uncommon beauty, lustre, &c., to cantivate, to fascinate. கண்செருகல்--கண்சொருகல், v. noun. Rolling up of the eyes--as in swoons, fits, death-bed, and sometimes in sleep. கண்ணஞ்ச, inf. To fear, dread, as excited by the sight of a superior, lightning, &c. கண்ணஞ்சனம், s. Collyrium, the ointment used to blacken the eye-lashes. 2. Blue vitriol. கண்ணடைக்க, inf. To choke, stop up--as the orifice of a spring, a nipple, துவாரமடைக்க. கண்ணடைய, inf. To become choked or stopped up--as a hole, &c., தூவாரமடைபட. 2. [prov.] To cease shooting--as the head or heart of a plant, பயிரின்குருத்துக்கண்ணடைய. இடியப்பக்குழல்கண்ணடைந்துபோயிற்று. The இடியப்ப mould is stopped up. கண்ணடைந்தபால், s. Milk injured by being kept too long. கண்ணப்பன், s. One of the sixtythree devotees of Siva who scooped out his own eye and consecrated it to that deity--also called திண்ணன். கண்ணயர்ந்துபோதல், v. noun. [com.] Covering the eyes with the hands or doubling the upper eyelid over the eyeball inside out, and running round as children in play, ஓர்விளையாட்டு. 2. Giddiness, dizziness, கண்மயக்கம். கண்ணாம்பூச்சியாட, inf. To run about in play with the eyes covered, or with the eyelid doubled over. கண்ணாம்பொத்தி, s. [prop. கண் பொத்தி.] A game, children's play, hideand-seek. கண்பொத்திவிளையாட, inf. To play at hide-and-seek. கண்ணாயிரம், s. The argus of the Hindus. கண்ணாயிருக்க, inf. The blight of the eyes, an unlucky look supposed to cause sickness, &c., திட்டி தோஷம். விண்ணேறுதப்பினாலுங்கண்ணேறுதப்பாது. One may escape a thunderbolt, but to escape an evil eye is impossible. மதன்கண்ணேறெய்தலுங்கழிந்ததோ. (Has the waist) become so attenuated through the influence of kama's eyes? கண்ணூறுகழிக்க, inf. To dispel the blight of an evil eye by prescribed ceremonies. கண்ணூறுபட, inf. To suffer or experience the ill effects of evil eyes. கண்ணெச்சில், s. To run out--as the sight on an object of desire, to look at with desire, cast wistful or lustful glances, விருப்பமாகப்பார்க்க. 2. To watch, look after, inspect, superintend, பார்வை யிட. 3. To examine cursorily--as a book, writing, &c., மேலெழுச்சியாய்ப்பார்க்க. 4. To be kind, benignant, gracious, to treat kindly, be indulgent, தயவாயிருக்க. 5. To be partial, to have the mind biased toward one, to yield to feelings of compassion, தாட்சிணியஞ்செய்ய.--Note. All the meanings have reference to sight as prompting to passion and action. உடையவன்கண்ணோடாப்பயிர், s. Growing corn not looked after by the owner. கண்ணோட்டம், s. A glance, a look, the scope of the sight, கடைக்கண்பா ர்வை. 2. Regard to persons, either in a good or bad sense, kindness as prompted at the moment, partiality, favoritism, glow of kind feelings toward a friend, reluctance to deny his request, &c., கடாட்சம். 3. Civility, complaisance, regard, மரியாதை. 4. Discerning by the eye, close examination, scrutiny, பார்வை யிடுகை. இவனவனிடத்திற்கண்ணோட்டம்வைத்தான். He was very kind to him. கண்திட்டம்--கண்மதிப்பு, s.
