kṭttu (p. 87) கிறேன், கடத்தினேன், வே ன், கடத்த, v. a. To remove, to transplace, பெ யர்க்க. 2. To cause to go, to drive, செலுத்த. 3. To dismiss one with an excuse without complying with his request, to decline compliance, விலக்க. 4. To do work carelessly, to slight, act with eye service, pass time idly, கழப்ப. 5. To put one off, delay, postpone, evade, தவணைசொல்ல. 6. To lengthen out a work, delay in performance, நீட்டிக்க. வேலையைக்கடத்திப்போட்டான். He has evaded the duty under some pretence. கைக்கொண்டதொறுவைக்கடத்தி. Driving home the cows which they had recovered-(பாரத.) ஆளைக்கடத்திவிடுதல். Getting rid of one who solicits favors. பொருளெல்லாங்கடத்திப்போட்டான். He abstracted the property by force or by stealth. தருகிறோமென்றுகடத்திப்போட்டார்.
