World of the gods, Swerga, the third of the secven upper worlds, of which Indra is king, the lowest heaven of mortals, who assume the form of gods for a residence in it. The enjoyments are all sensual, and the period of their continuance depends on the merit of the persons while on earth. When this is exhausted, they return for another period of probation; or go to a place of suffering for the expiration of previous demerit. This is the only heaven presented to the hope of the multitude, and generally the highest bliss they anticipate, சுவர் க்கம். தேவவசனம்--தேவவாக்கு, s. [com. பூந்தி.] The நெய்க் கொட்டான் tree, notch-leaved soap-nut, Sapindus emarginatus. (Ains.) பூவம்பன், s. Kama as armed with flowers as his arrows, காமன்; [ex அம்பு.] பூவரசு, s. (c.) மரத்துப்பழம்மரத்தடியிலேவிழும். The fruit of a tree falls near its roots; i. e. sin follows the sinner. மரக்கணு, s. A knot in a tree. மரக்கலம், s.
