uruḷ (p. 65) --உருளு, கிறது, உருண்டது, உருளும், உருள, v. n. To turn about as a wheel, or dice, to roll, bowl, trundle, tumble over and over, revolve on a plane, spin or whirl--as a thrown discus, at right angles with the horizon, புரள. 2. To become round, grow globular, திரள. 3. (c.) To perish, die in numbers--as in battle, by an epidemic, &c.; to waste--as wealth, &c.; to become extinct, be exterminated, அழிய. உருண்டுபோவாய். May you die. (An imprecation.) அவன்கூட்டமெல்லாமுருண்டுபோயிற்று. His whole circle is extinguished. காணாப்பிணமாயுருண்டுபோகிறது. To die unnoticed. கொள்ளைநோயிலநேகருருண்டுபோனார்கள். Becoming round globules or grains. உருளுநேமி, s. The whirling discus. உருள்தடந்தேர், s. A large rolling car. (குறள்.) உருட்சி, v. noun. Rotundity, globosity, globularness, திரட்சி. 2.
