kūṉu (p. 136) கிறேன், கூனினேன், வேன், கூன, v. n. (from Sans. Koona.) To curve, to become crooked, to bend down, கோண. 2. To be hump-backed, முதுகுவளைய. 3. To contract, close-as the tortoise, the snail, &c., ஒடுங்க. கூனிப்போக, inf. To become humpbacked. 2. To be bent, by age. கெ *கெசம், s. An elephant, யானை. 2. A measure of two cubits, a yard, இரண்டுமுழங் கொண்டஅளவு. See கசம் and கயம், and their compounds.
