Being bound, confined, restrained, அடிமைத்திறமுறல்.--Note. கிறு, கிற்பு, கிற்றல், கிற்று, கின் and கின்று seem to be the surviving paronyms from some obsolete Tamil root, which, in sound and meaning, might have been equivalent to the Sanscrit Kru, to do: hence, நடக்கிறான் and நடக்கி ன்றான், mean 'he does walk.' கிற்பு and கிற் றல், as verbal nouns, and கிற்று and கின், as particles, are now absolete. 35)
