The name of a tree, கருக்குவரய்ச்சி, with a dark jagged leaf, serrated, ஓர்மரம், Zizyphus trinervius. (Rott.) கருக்குவாள், s. A sword with a sharp edge, கருக்கானவாள். கருக்குவேலை, s. kiẕi (p. 111) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. To tear, to rend, to split, to slit, to shred, to tear to pieces, to rip up, to lacerate, கிழியச்செய்ய. 2. To divide, to cleave. இர ண்டாகக்்கிழிக்க. 3. To scratch with claws, thorns, &c., கொளுவிக்கிழிக்க. 4. To make and place [artificial] teeth. பல்லுகிட்டல்--பற்கிட்டல், v. noun.
