kiṭttu (p. 109) கிறேன், கிடத்தினேன், வேன், கிடத்த, v. a. [causative of கிட.] To cause to lie down, to place in a recumbent posture--as a child, &c.; to set or lay a thing down or upon, கிடக்கச்செய்ய. கிடத்தியளக்க, inf. To apply a measuring instrument to any thing and so measure it. கிடத்திவைக்க, inf. To put an infant on its bed, or a corpse on a bier. 2)
