A gown or robe. தெறிச்சட்டை, s. [prov.] A jacket with buttons. சட்டைகழற்ற, inf. To take off the jacket. 2. To cast the skin--as a snake. (c.) சட்டைக்காரன், s. One in European dress, a Portugnese; a Eurasian. (c.) சட்டைச்சாக்கு, s. A pocket. (Modern.) சட்டைச்சாம்பு, s. [loc.] Cloth seventytwo cubits in the piece; long-cloth. (Limited usage.) சட்டைநாதன், s. [com. சட்டநாதன்.] A name of Siva--as Bhairava. சட்டைபண்ண, inf. To esteem, regard, honor. (c.) சட்டைமுனி, s. [com. சட்டமுனி].
