neruñci (p. 280) --நெருஞ்சில், s. [com. நெ ரிஞ்சி.] A thorny plant or thistle, small caltrope, Tribulus terrestris, L.--Of நெ ருஞ்சி there are different kinds, கொடிநெ ருஞ்சி, a running thistle; செப்புநெருஞ்சி, a thistle with a red flower; பெருநெருஞ்சி, a large thistle, Tribulus longinous; சிறு நெருஞ்சி, a small species of the plant; ஆனை நெருஞ்சி, a large leaved thistle.
