aḷṟu (p. 33) கிறேன், அளறினேன், வேன், அளற, v. n. To split or become mauled or shattered--as a tree in lopping off the branches with a blunt instrument, சிதறிவெ டிக்க. 2. To split--as a palmyra tree in falling, பிளக்க. 3. To be fractured--as the skull by a fall or blow, to be broken or bruised as any part of the body, also as palmyra fruits, நெரிய. 27)

iṟu (p. 57) கிறது, இற்றது, ம், இற, v. n. To break, to be snapped off--as a stick, a rope; to be severed--as a limb, to be broken, lopped or cut off, be truncated, ஒடிய. 2. To perish, die, to be slain, சாவ. 3. To end, terminate, cease, become extinet, முடிவுற. 4. To decay, moulder, crumble, to be corroded; to decay--as a bone, கெட. (p.) அந்தக்குடியிற்றிறந்துபோயிற்று. That family has been reduced to indigence, and ruined. இறுமுறி, s. A discharged bond from which a piece is torn off. இறுவதஞ்சாமை, neg. v. noun. Fearlessness of loss--one of the eight qualities of a merchant, வணிகரெண்குணத் திலொன்று. இறுவரை, s. End, முடிவு. செறுநரைக்காணிற்சுமக்கவிறுவரைகாணிற்கிழக்கா ந்தலை. On seeing your foes, take them on your head (show them all attention); when the time of their departure comes, they will fall head-long of themselves. இறுவரையும்--இறுமளவும். Until death. இறுவாய், s. End, termination, இறுதி. இற்றுப்போக, inf. To be broken. இற்றுவிழ, inf. To break off and fall. குலையிற்றுவிழுந்தது. The bunch of fruit is fallen off. இறல், v. noun. Destruction, கேடு. இறுதி, s. End, termination, ending, expiration of a term, &c., முடிவு. 2. Death, perishing, extinction, சாவு. 3. Limit, bound, extent, எல்லை. உயிரிறுதியளவுங்கைவிடேன். Till death I will not forsake thee. இறுதிகாலம், s. The time of death, the end of all things, முடிவுகாலம். இறுதிநிலைத்தீவகம்--இறுதிவிளக்கு, s. A figure in rhetoric, an ellipsis. See தீவகம். 20)

cḷcḷ (p. 173) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்்பேன், க்க, v. n. To be or grow wet, miry, muddy, sloppy, சேறாக. 2. To chatter, babble, prate, அலப்ப. 3. To sound as the falling of a stream, to rush--as rain, மழையடிக்க. 4. To grow too moist, watery, &c., as vegetable curries, கறிகுழைய. 5. To speak with the mouth too full of saliva, வாய்நீர்சளக்க. 6. tongku (p. 262) கிறேன், தொங்கினேன், வேன், தொங்க, v. n. To hang, to be suspended, to hang down, to stick, or hang, ready to fall; to dangle, தூங்க. 2. To adhere as any thing to the bowels, தங்க. 3. (fig.) To remain long with one, as another's property, நிலுவைப்பட. (c.) 4. To move with leaps --as a child skipping, or a beast gallopping, குதிக்க. 5. (c.) தொங்குபறிவு--தொங்குபொறி--தொங் குபொறிவு, v. noun. [prov.] Hanging just ready to fall; to slip off; to turn over, ஒட்டியும்ஒட்டாதிருத்தல். 2. (fig.) To become lonely, solitary--as a palace, or a king's court in his absence, வெறுமையாக. (c.) அவனுக்குவெறித்தது. He is intoxicated. காலம்வெறித்துக்கிடக்கிறது.
