kilukilukk (p. 111) inf. To rattle; to make a tinkling, crackling sound; to ring, கிலுகி லென்றொலிக்க. கிலுகிலுப்பை, s. The name of a plant whose seeds rattle in the legumen, when ripe and dry, ஓர்செடி, Crotolaria labumifolia, L. 2. A kind of child's rattle, ஓர் விளையாட்டுக்கருவி. கிலுகிலுப்பைக்குட்டான், s. [prov.] A child's basket-rattle. வட்டக்கிலுகிலுப்பை--வெள்ளைக்கிலுகிலு ப்பை, s. A species of the கிலுகிலுப்பை plant, Crotolaria verrucosa. கிலுகிலெனல், v. noun. Rattling--as seed, &c., ஒலிக்குறிப்பு. 2. Sounding, buzzing--as flies swarming; swarming, collecting thick together--as maggots in a sore, crawling one over another, &c., தேனீமுதலியமூசல். ஈசல் கிலுகிலென்றெழும்புகின்றது. The winged white-ants are swarming, and flying up with a buzz. சனங்கள் கிலுகிலென்றுவந்துவிழுந்தார்கள். The people thronged or flocked rapidly one after another. 28)

neḷi (p. 281) கிறேன், ந்தேன், வேன், நெளிய, v. n. To crawl with an undulating motion--as snakes, worms, maggots, &c., ஊர. 2. To writhe as the body through pain, to distort the limbs, &c., as a child, showing airs, கெந்த. 3. To hitch, move or shift from its place as an infant, நகர. 4. To be distorted by carrying a load; to be bent on one side, as a lame person, &c., கூன. 5. To be bent, inclined, warped--as timber, articles of furniture, &c., also to be crooked, as a road, channel, &c., வளைய. (c.) அதுநெளிந்துபோயிற்று. [vul.] To incline or bend, as a tall palankeen bearer to be level with a shorter, to shrink from blows, &c. நெளிந்துகொண்டுநிற்க, inf. To stand in a lounging or affected posture. நெளிவு, v. noun. Crawling, writhing, flexture, &c., as the verb. நெளிவெடுக்க, inf. To mend any thing bent or warped, to correct an irregularity. 2. To make a flexure, commonly to a ring, நெளி. 5)

puẕu (p. 327) s. A worm, a maggot, &c., as கிருமி. (c.) புழுநெளியுமாப்போலே. Squirming or wriggling like a worm; i. e. to be restless. புழுஅரித்தல்--புழுமேய்தல், v. noun. Gnawing, and causing itching or irritation, as animalcule in eruptions. 2. Being worm-eaten. 3. As புழுக்கடி, 1. புழுக்கடி--புழுவெட்டு, v. noun. A disease which makes the hair fall off. 2. Any thing worm-eaten. புழுக்கூடு, s. [poet. புழுக்குரம்பை.] A chrysalis, the testaceous or mud shell of insects, the cocoon. 2. [fig.] The body. புழுக்கூடுகட்ட, inf. To construct nests, as insects, in rape seed, &c., to become mouldy as grain. புழுக்குத்தி--புழுக்கொத்தி, appel. n. The hoope bird. See கொண்டலாத்தி. புழுக்கொல்லி, appel. n. A plant whose medicinal effects counteract the poison of worms, bees, &c., Aristolochia. புழுப்புழுத்தல்--புழுவைத்தல், v. noun. Breeding as worms in meat, a sore, &c. புழுவதை, s. Bees-cell, as தேன்வதை. புழுவெட்டு. See புழுக்கடி. 41)

A mendicant's beggingvessel, probably from Siva's using the skull of Brahma, for this purpose, இரப் போர்கலம். (சது.) அவனுக்குமண்டைப்புழுவூருகிறது.
