uṟukku (p. 67) கிறேன், உறுக்கினேன், வே ன், உறுக்க, v. a. To reprimand, chide, scold, reprove, rebuke, கடிந்துகொள்ள. 2. To meanace, denounce, threaten, either by words or gesture, பயமுறுத்த. 3. To speak with harshness, severity, anger, &c., குரூர மாய்ப்பேச. 4. (p.) To leap over, pass over, கடக்க. 5. To jump, குதிக்க. உறுக்கிக்கேட்க, inf. To interrogate in a threatening tone or manner. உறுக்கிச்சொல்ல, inf. To speak or declare with authority, to speak in a threatening tone. விரலாலுறுக்க, inf. To rebuke by raising or shaking the forefinger. உறுக்கல், v. noun. A jump, குதிப்பு. 2. s. Anger, கோபம். 3. Sign of anger, சினக்குறிப்பு. உறுக்கு--உறுக்காட்டம்--உறுக்கா ட்டியம், v. noun.
