cimiṇṭu (p. 185) கிறேன், சிமிண்டினேன், வேன், சிமிண்ட, v. a. (Com. சீண்டு.) To touch with the finger, tickle; pluck, pinch. Compare நிமிண்டு. கக்கத்திற்சிமிண்டுகிறகைநமனல்லவோ. Is not the hand that tickles one's armpit a minister of death? சிமிண்டிக்காட்ட, inf. To pull one and point with the hand. (R.) 6)

tṇṭumiṇṭu (p. 223) v. noun. Obstinacy, stubbornness, insubordination, மூர்க்கம். (c.) தண்டுமிண்டுக்காரன், s. A stubborn, contumacious man. தண்டுமிண்டுபண்ண, inf. To be obstinate. 4) *
