mlṭu (p. 345) s. [as adj. மலட்டு.] Barrenness, பாழ். 2. A barren beast, வித்தில்லாத விலங்கு. (c.) அறுவகைமலடு. Six kinds of barrenness in women. They are: 1. வாதபித்த மலடு, sterility from bad humors; 2. கிருமிமலடு, by worms in the uterus; 3. சீதமலடு, by mucus; 4. வாயுமலடு, by flatulency; 5. சூதகமலடு, from hysterics; 6. துன்மாமிசமலடு, from fungus formations. மலடன், s.
