A creeping plant, சிறுகுறிஞ்சா, Periploca, L. அமுதப்பார்வை, s. A favorable or propitious look. as of a lady towards her admirer, குளிர்ந்தபார்வை. அமதமேந்தல், v. noun. Giving food to ascetics and other virtuous persons, guests, as one of the nine kinds of புண்ணியம், and of the sixteen உபசாரம். அமுதயோகம், s. [in astrology.] The auspicious conjunction of a certain day of the week, phase of the moon and lunar constellation. See யோகம். அமுதர், s. Celestials, வானோர். 2. Herdsmen, இடையர். (p.) அமுதவல்லி, s. A creeper, as சீந்தில். அமுதவெழுத்து, s. Letters deemed propitious and proper to begin a poem, or to be in other important places. arcu (p. 23) --அரசமரம், s. A tree-the Ficus religiosa, Peepul, or poplarleaved fig-tree--forming one of the nine kinds of wood used in burnt offerings, ஓர்மரம். (See சமித்து.) Its seed is used for medicinal purposes. அரசாணிக்கால், s. A bough of this tree, which together with others from the கலியாணமுருக்கு, (or erythrina,) &c. is fixed between two of the interior posts of the marriage pandal, round which the parties pass, performing particular ceremonies. அரசிலை, s.
