இளமை
iḷmai (p. 56) s. Youth, tenderness, immatureness, juvenility, infancy, இளமைப்பரு வம். 2. Indiscretion, immaturity of knowledge and intellect, illusion, உன்மத்தம். The opposite to இளமை is முதுமை. இளமையிலேபுண்ணியத்தோடேபழகு. Accustom thyself to virtue from thy youth. இளமையிற்கல். Learn from thy infancy. இளங்கதிர், s. Young ears of corn, பயிரினிளங்கதிர். 2. The early rays of the sun, இளங்கிரணம். 3. The sun early in the morning, உதையாதித்தன். இளங்கலையன், s. A species of paddy that ripens early, ஓர்நெல். இளங்கன்று, s. A young calf, சிறு கன்று. 2.
