See பெயரன். பேராளன், s. [also பேராளி.] A renowned personage. 2. See பேர், adj. பேரிட, inf. To give a name. பேரிடாப்பு--பேர்டாப்பு, s. A list of names; [ex இடாப்பு.] பேருக்குச்செய்ய--பேருக்குநடத்த, inf. To act in reference to a reward, as an eye-servant; or for fame. பேரூர், s. One's name and country. பேரூரில்லாதகடிதம். Anonymous letter. பேரெடுக்க, inf. To get a name, acquire fame, &c. பேரெழும்ப, inf. To spread as one's fame. பேரேடு, s. An ola-account-book, or ledger, to receive entries from the daybook, பெயர்க்கணக்கேடு. (c.) பேர்த்தி, s. [also பெயர்த்தி.] A granddaughter, பௌத்திரி. 2.
