paṇṭāram (p. 292) s. A religious mendicant wearing beads and yellow garments; also பண்டாரி. W. p. 534. PAN'DARA. (c.) 2. A monk or friar, மடாதீனத்தான். 3. A yellow powder kept by pujaris in a little box, and given when they receive alms, மஞ்சட் பொடி. பண்டாரக்குருக்கள், s. A guru among religious mendicants. பண்டாரங்களுக்குச்சோறிட, inf.
