kōvai (p. 151) v. noun. The act of stringing, filing, &c., கோத்தல். 2. s. Anything strung or filed, a string, கோத்தமாலை. 3. A flower garland, தொடுத்தபூமாலை. 4. A necklace, அணி வடம். 5. A kind of poem--commonly amorous, ஓர்பிரபந்தம். 6. Series, a train, a row, வரிசை. 7. Subjects or matter properly arranged, arrangements, தொடர்ச்சிப் பொருள்; [ex கோ, v.] 8. [com.] The கொவ் வை creeper. கோவைசெய்ய--கோவைபண்ண, inf. To string, to reduce to order, arrange into a system. மணிக்கோவை, s. A necklace of beads; also of pearls, &c. முத்துக்கோவை, s.
