niṉai (p. 277) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. To think, consider, reflect, யோசிக்க. 2. To meditate, contemplate, சிந்திக்க. 3. To extend, design, have in view, எண்ண. 4. To bear in mind, call or recall to mind, to remember, ஞாபகஞ்செய்ய. 5. To imagine, fancy, suppose, பாவிக்க. 6. To exert volition; to will, to purpose, தீர்மானிக்க. 7. To think upon, to design to eye with mercy, கடாட்சிக்க. 8. To be pleased, to please to do a think, &c., பிரியமுற. 9. To be grateful for, to remember with gratitude, நன் றியறிய. (c.) நினைக்கவும்ஆகும். He no sooner thinks than it is done. நினைத்தகாரியஞ்சொல்லுகிறது. To tell, as a soothsayer, &c., what one has in view and the result of his application. நினைத்ததுமுடிப்பான்.
