ūmai (p. 70) s. Dumbness, மூகை. 2. Unsounding--as a coin that will not ring, ஒலியின்மை. 3. A dumb person, ஊமன். ஊமைகண்டகனாப்போலிருக்கின்றது. It is like the dream of a dumb person (not revealable). ஊமைக்கட்டி, s. A blind boil, one that does not suppurate, வாய்மூடியபரு. 2. The mumps, பொன்னுக்குவீங்கி. ஊமைச்சி, s. A dumb woman, ஊமைப்பெண். 2. The Supreme Being. பரமகாரியம், s. A divine, spiritual, or heavenly subject. பரமக்கியானம்--பரமஞானம், s. Knowledge of, or acquaintance with, the deity. பரமசண்டாளன், s. A desperate wretch. பரமசத்துரு, s. A great enemy, a chief adversary, கடும்பகைவன். பரமசந்தேகம், s. A great doubt, obscurity. பரமசமாதி, s. As பரமசாந்தி. பரமசாந்தி, s. Divine tranquility of the soul, absorbed in spiritual contemplations and enjoyments, யோகநிலை. பரமசாயுச்சியம், s. Union or identification with the deity, sometimes described as enjoyed even before quitting the body. பரமசித்தி, s. Heavenly bliss, முத்தி. பரமசுந்தரி, s. The goddess of virtue, தருமதேவதை. பரமசைதன்னியம், s. Universal spirit or intelligence, the Supreme Being. பரமதூர்த்தன், s. A capital rake, மிகு துட்டன். பரமநாழிகை, s. The whole period of hours during which a திதி, வாரம், கரணம், யோகம் or நட்சத்திரம் lasts. பரமநிஷ்டை, s. Contemplation on the deity, the mind being entirely set upon பரமநிவர்த்தி, s. Final liberation from anxieties, and secularities, &c., பாச விமோசனம். பரமபதம், s. The heaven of a god, more especially of Vishnu, as bestowed on his followers. பரமபதவாசி, s. An inhabitant of the heavenly place. 2. Vishnu; also Siva. பரமபாகவதசிகாமணி--பரமபாகவதன், s. A superior class of Vaishnuvas. பரமமூர்த்தி, s. The Supreme Being. 2. Vishnu, விஷ்ணு. பரமயோக்கியம், s. Divine excellence as தேவதாயோக்கியம். பரமரகசியம், s. A divine secret or mystery; also used in irony. பரமலுத்தன், s. A great niggard. பரமலோகம், s. A world of bliss. பரமாகாயம், s. The wide expanse of ether, as the abode of deity, or the vacuum of the yogi, பெருவெளி. பரமாங்கிசம், s. A part of divinity; [ex அமிசம்.] 2. [hon. for அங்கிசம்.] A upanishad. பரமாணு, s. An atom, the invisible base of aggregate bodies; In Wils. thirty of them are supposed to form a mote in a sunbeam, பொருண்மூலம். 2. [in modern usage.] Atmosphere, ஆகா யம்.--The atomic bases of the five elements, called பஞ்சபூதஅணு, are பிருதுவிப் பரமாணு, atomic base of earth, being water; 2. அப்புப்பரமாணு, of water, being fire; 3. தேயுப்பரமாணு, atomic base of fire, being air; 4. வாயுப்பரமாணு, of air or wind. being ether; 5. ஆகாயப்பரமாணு, of ether being maya. பரமாத்துமம்--பரமாத்துமா, s. The soul of the universe. 2. The Deity or universal soul, as contrasted with சீவாத் துமா, the human soul. பரமாத்துமன், s. God as the soul of the world, கடவுள். 2. (fig.) A saint, or glorified spirit, சுத்தாத்துமா. பரமாயு--பரமாயுஸ், s. Great age, தீர்க்காயு. 2. Full age according to one's maturity. பரமாபமம், s. The inclination of a planet's orbit to the equator; [ex அபமம்.] பரமார்த்தம், s. Any excellent or important aim, or object, மேலானபொருள். 2. A kind of spiritual knowledge which reveals the vanity and illusion of the world, மெய்ஞ்ஞானம். 3. [com. in irony.] Simplicity. பரமார்த்தகுரு--பரமார்த்தன், s. A simpleton, not experienced in worldly affairs. பரமார்த்தகுருவின்கதை, s. Story of Guru Noodle by Beschi. பரமாற்புதம், s. A divine miracle. பரமானந்தம், s. Spiritual joy, heavenly delight. 2. The Divine Being before his exertion of energy in the work of creation, பிரமம். பரமானந்தர், s. [hon.] Deity in enjoyment with ஆனந்தரூபசத்தி. பரமானம், s. [com. for பரமான்னம்.] பரமானுபவம், s. Experience in spiritual things, acquaintance or communications with the deity. பரமான்மா, s. The Deity as the soul of the universe, as பரமாத்துமா. பரமான்னம், s.
