ulṟu (p. 66) கிறது, உலறினது, ம், உலற, v. n. To be worn out, as clothes, &c., சிதைய. 2. To become dry, to wither, காய. 3. To become rough, shaggy, loose, brushy--as hair, to bristle up, சிலும்ப. 4. A plant, Achyranthes corymbosa, (L.) சடைத்தேங்காய், s. [prov.] A cocoanut whose husk abounds with fibres. சடைநாகம், s. A kind of ornament worn by women on the hair, ஓரணிகலம். சடைநாய், s. A shaggy dog. (c.) சடைபற்றிப்போக, inf. To grow bushy, shaggy, rough, as hair. 2. To become thick, as branches. சடைபில்லை--சடப்பில்லை, s. A kind or round golden ornament for the head of women. ciluppu (p. 186) கிறேன், சிலுப்பினேன், வேன், சி லுப்ப, v. a. The bristle, erect the hair, raise the quills as a porcupine; to dishevel, to make rough or shaggy, மயிர்நெறிக்கச்செய்ய. 2. (Tel.) To turn or shake the head in disdain or displeasure, &c., தலையசைக்க. 3. To stir, move, agitate, கலக்க. 5. To churn, தயிர்கடைய. சிலுப்பிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறான். He is angry, he bristles about.
