A person of very respectable and dazzling appearance. ஆசாரப்பிழை, s. Ill-manners. 2. Want of cleanliness. ஆசாரப்புடவை, s. Silk cloth, or some other, worn when the daily rites are performed. The former is deemed the more sacred and not needing to be dipped in water for purification. Those unable to keep silk for the purpose, wear cotton cloths and dip them every time to purify them. ஆசாரவாசல்--ஆசாரவாயில், s. The outer hall in a king's court, where his subjects may assemble. 2. īrkku (p. 58) s. The rib of a palmyra, cocoanut or other palm; also a leaflet of the தாழை, ஓலையீர்க்கு. 2. Culmus or straw for picking the teeth, பற்குத்துங்குச்சு. 3. The feathers of an arrow, அம்பினிறகு. ஈர்க்குக்கம்பி, s. A very narrow stripe in the border of a silk or cotton fabric. ஈர்க்குவிளக்குமாறு, s. ūttai (p. 70) s. Filth connected with the teeth, body, &c., excrement, excretion, &c.; any ceremonial uncleanness especially from catamenia, சரீரவழுக்கு. 2. None washes himself so as not to require it again, nor does any one eat so as not to hunger again. ஊத்தைகுடியன், s. A kind of goblin, ஓர்பிசாசு. ஊத்தைச்சீலை, s. Menstruous cloth, சூதகச்சீலை. 2. Dirty cloth, or clothes, அழுக்குச்சீலை. ஊத்தைதாங்க, inf. To bear dirt, &c.--as cloth without showing it. ஊத்தைதேய்க்க--ஊத்தைபுரட்ட, inf. To rub the body in bathing. ஊத்தைநாறி, s. oṭu (p. 81) . A poetic form of the third case or social ablative, sometimes also used as an instrumental-meaning with, or by, மூன்றாம்வேற்றுமையுருபு. 2. A poetic expletive, ஓரிடைச்சொல். போதொடுபொதுள. To get well married--as a poor girl, வாழ்வடைய. கரையேற்ற, inf. To save, rescue, restore, redeem, கதியிற் சேர்க்க. 2.
