The ஓந்தி lizard, the chameleon, பச்சோந்தி, Lacerta chameleon, L. 2. One able to assume any form at pleasure, வேண்டியஉருவங்கொள்பவன். காமலீலை, s. Libidinous sporting of the sexes together to excite or gratify sexual desire. காமவல்லி, s. A plant said to climb the Kalpa tree in the world of Indra, கற்பத்திற்படர்கொடி. காமவிகாரம், s. Irregular sexual desires, lasciviousness, lust. 2. Sexual love. காமவிகாரமாயிருக்க, inf. To be lustful, lecherous. காமவிகாரன்--காமவிகாரி s. A lascivious person. காமவிடாய், s. Vehement sexual desire. காமவெறி, s. Venereal infatuation. காமன், s. Kama, the Indian Cupid, மன்மதன். Wils. p. 21. KAMA. காமதகனன், s. Siva, as the burner of Kama, சிவன். (p.) காமற்காய்ந்தோன், s. Siva as the consumer of Kama, சிவன். 2. Argha, அருகன். காமன்மைத்துனன், s. Ganesa, as the maternal cousin of Kama, விநாயகன். காமன்றிருநாள்--காமன்பண்டிகை s. A festival to Kama, celebrated in some places in March, மன்மதோச்சவம். காமக்கினி, s. The fire of lust, venereal desire, the venereal principle seated and operative in the body, as one of the three fires of the animal system, காமத்தீ. Wils. p. 211. KAMAGNI. காமாட்சி--காமாக்ஷி, s. A foreign country, foreign residence as பிறதேசம். பரதேசம்போக, inf. To go to a foreign country--as a wanderer, exile, religious mendicant, &c. வித்துவானுக்கேதுபரதேசம். Heavenly bliss. பரலோகவாசி, s. An inhabitant of heaven. பரலோகவாழ்வு, s. Enjoyment in heaven. பரவசம், s. Subjection to another, தன் வசமல்லாமை. 2. Ecstacy, transport of joy, rapture, மிகுகளிப்பு. See ஆனந்தபரவசம். 3. Abstraction of the senses from fear, or sorrow, being paralyzed, மூர்ச்சை. 4. Astonishment, amazement, பிரமை. 5. An oath or promise, பிரமாணிக்கம். பரவசமாகுதல்--பரவசப்படுதல், v. noun. Being enraptured, transported, fascinated. 2. Being panic-struck. பரவசம்சொல்லுதல். Speaking peaceably, giving advice or offering reasons to appease one's anger. 2. Confirming an oath. பரவணி, s. [prov.] Lineal descent, hereditary succession as பரம்பரை. 2. Ethereal space as சிதா காசம், which see. பராதாரம், s. A crow, as hatching the Koil bird's eggs, காக்கை. பராதீனம், s. Dependence, subjection, the right, or jurisdiction of others, பிறர் சார்பிலிருக்கை. பரானுகூலம், s. Success to others; availing another. பரானுகூலி, s. One who helps or favors another, பிறர்க்குதவுவோன். 2. A woman who loves another man more than her husband. பரார்்த்தம்--பராத்தம், s. For the benefit of others, பிறர்க்காகத்தக்கது; [ex அர்த்தம்.] பரார்த்தஅனுமானம், s. [in log.] Inference having reference to others, as பிறர்பொருட்டனுமானம். பரார்த்ததேவப்பிரார்த்திதம், s. Interceding for another. See தாயவிருத்தி. பரான்னம், s. Food which one receives from others. பரோபகாரம், s. Kindness to others. See உபகாரம். பரோபகாரன், s.
