To be broken off as affection, friendship, attachment, earthly ties. 2. To be extirpated, exhausted, to be extinct; used also as an adverb. பற்றுக்கொண்டுபோய்விட்டான். One free from sensual attachments--as the Deity, or an advanced devotee. பற்றுக்கால், s. Supporter of a lever, or swing. பற்றுக்குறடு, s. A pair of tongs; sometimes பற்றுகுறடு. பற்றுக்கொள்ள, inf.
