[prov.] Tithe of rice, or portion given as tax to government. நெல்லம்புல்--நெல்வைக்கோல், s. Paddy-straw. நெல்லரி, s. Sheaf of rice-corn. நெல்லிடை, s. A weight equal to a grain of paddy. நெல்லுக்கட்டிவைக்க, inf. To store up paddy. நெல்லுக்குத்த, inf. To beat paddy in a mortar. See குத்து, v. நெல்லுச்சுமை, s. A load of paddy. நெல்லுப்பிடிக்க, inf.
