civ (p. 187) க்கிறது, ந்தது, க்கும், க்க, v. n. (etymological'y செவ.) To redden, blush, to be red, to be streaked or tinged with red, செவக்க. 2. To become angry, to redden, as the eyes by anger, உக்கிரங் கொள்ள.--Note. Where redness comes on of itself, சிவத்தது is used in the past tense; where art is used, or the thing is red by birth, or origin, சிவந்தது is common; but in the latter it is sometimes optional; சிவந்தது may sometimes indicate the deeper color.--Note. 2. To run or gush out in a straight stream. தாரைப்பட்டு, s. Striped silk. தாரையூத, inf. To blow a trumpet. தாரைவார்த்தல், v. noun. Pouring water by a donor, on the right hand of the donee, in making a grant. &c. 2. (fig.) To lose a thing (spoken in grief) (c.) தாரைவார்த்துக்கொடுக்க, inf. An electuary compounded of the three fruits and other ingredients. திரிபழுகம், s. The three delicacies, milk, பால்; clarified butter, நெய்; and honey, தேன். திரிபாகி, s. One of the மிறைக்கவி, a curious poem in which a word of three letters when taken regularity gives one meaning, and when the first, second or third letter is taken away will give in each case a different meaning. திரிபுசம், s. [in mythol.] The three cities, or castles, severally of iron, silver, and gold, floating in the sky one above another; destroyed by Siva for embracing the Jaina tenets, முப்புரம். The chiefs of the castles were, கமலன், கமலாட் சன், and விச்சுவமாலி. திரிபுரசுந்தரி, s. Parvati, பார்வதி. திரிபுரதகனன், s. (St.) Siva, சிவன்; [ex தகனன், who burnt.] திரிபுரமல்லிகை, s. (St.) A medicinal plant, apparently a kind of jasmine. திரிபுரமெரித்தான், appel. n. Siva, who burnt and destroyed திரிபுரம், சிவன். 2. A tree, நொச்சி, Vitex. 3.
