When the fruits of its former actions are worked out, in sufferings and enjoyments, the soul begins to be enlightened by the grace of the Deity, its அஞ்ஞா னம் then ceases, and ஞானம் commences, increases and ripens for its union with the Deity. Some reckon the following four kinds; viz.: 1. தன்பொருட் டனுமானம். 2. பிறர்பொருட்டனுமானம். 3. அன் னுவயவனுமானம். 4. வெதிரேகவனுமானம்.
