vḷru (p. 379) --வளர், கிறேன், வளர்ந்தேன், வேன், வளர, v. n. To grow enlarge, increase; to wax as the moon, விர்த்தியாக. (c.) 2. [sometimes.] To lie asleep, நித்திரைகொள்ள. அவன்வளர்ந்துவிட்டான். He has grown tall. கண்வளர்தல். Sleeping. (பஞ். 89.) வளர்முலைப்பாரங்கண்டு. Seeing the weight of her swelling breasts. (p.) வளரறம், s. Increase in virtue. (p.) வளர்ந்தஆள், s. A tall person. வளர்பிறை, s. The crescent moon; oppos. to தேய்பிறை. வளர்ச்சி, v. noun. Growth, thriftiness, increase, விர்த்தி. (Ell. 146.) வளர்த்தி, v. noun.
