iẕai (p. 55) கிறது, ந்தது, யும், ய, v. n. To rub one against another, to chafe--as trees, உரிஞ்ச. 2. To become soft and thick--as boiled rice by keeping, குழைய. 3. To copulate--as snakes, பிணைய. 4. kṉi (p. 102) கிறது, ந்தது, யும், ய, v. n. To ripen--as fruits, to grow ripe, to be ripe, mellow, luscious, sweet, பழுக்க. 2. To be over-ripe, நைய. 3. To be in flames, to glow, பழுக்கக்காய. 4. To grow tender, to melt, be soft--as the heart by affection, sexual love, devotion, &c., கரைய. 5. To be melted, to be in a state of fusion, உருக. 6. (p.) To be cheerful, be glad, மனங்க ளிக்க. 7. To be excessively enraged, கோபி க்க. 8. v. a. To bury, conceal, hide, புதைக்க. கிழங்குகனியவெந்தது. The yams are well boiled. கனிந்தசொல், s. Sweet words. கனிந்தபழம், s. Ripe fruit. கனிந்தபாடம், s. kuẕai (p. 129) கிறது, ந்தது, யும், ய, v. n. To be soft, mashed, pulpy, slimy. &c., சோறு முதலியனகுழைய, 2. To become tender--as the mind by love, friendship, pity, &c, மனமிளக. 3. To be social, and friendly, sometimes with a clandestine purpose in view, சேர்ந்துசெறிய. 4. To fade, shrink; to become spoiled--as flowers, or twigs by use in the hand, மலர்முதலியனவாட. 5. To become discouraged, dismayed, தைரியங்குறைய. 6. To be bent--as a bow; to be curved, to be coiled up, வளைய. மோப்பக்குழையுமனிச்சமுகந்திரிந்து நோக்கக்குழை யும்விருந்து.
