uṟngku (p. 67) கிறேன், உறங்கினேன், வே ன், உறங்க, v. n. To sleep, slumber, நித் திரைசெய்ய. 2. To become closed--as flowers, leaves, &c., by the absence of the sun, ஒடுங்க. 3. To become reduced, sluggish, drowsy, &c.--as by a journey, disease, want of food, &c., சோர. தையுமாசியும்வையகத்துறங்கு. In the months of January and February sleep in a house thatched with straw. உறக்கம், v. noun. Sleep, slumber, drowsiness, நித்திரை. 2. Suspension of the faculties whether by sleep, fainting, or otherwise, ஒடுக்கம். 3. Death, மரணம். ஓயுமாலுடனுறங்குமுலகுதந்தவனுறக்கம். The half of a palmyra leaf. ஓலைச்சுருள், s. An ola letter inclosed in a செந்திரிக்கம். ஓலைதீட்ட, inf. To write on the ola, ஓலையிலெழுத. ஓலைதீட்டும்படை, s.
