W. p. 418. DUSHT'A.--Note. This word is often used adjectively, as துஷ்டமனிதன். துஷ்டகண்டகன், s. A barbarous savage, a vile wretch, மிகுதுஷ்டன். துஷ்டகுணம்--துஷ்டத்தனம், s. Wickedness, fierceness, ferocity, barbarity, கெட்டகுணம். துஷ்டசதுர்த்தர், s. Four ferocious persons celebrated in Mahabharat, துரியோத னன், துச்சாதனன், கண்ணன், சகுனி. துஷ்டசிரோமணி--துஷ்டசித்தன், s. A very wicked person. துஷ்டதேவதை, s. A malignant deity. துஷ்டத்தொழில், s. A barbarous or ferocious act. துஷ்டநடை--துஷ்டமார்க்கம், s. A wicked life. துஷ்டநிக்கிரகம், s. Destruction of the wicked; commonly as an attribute of a good king--oppos. to சிஷ்டபரிபாலனம். துஷ்டமிருகம், s. A wild beast. துஷ்டவித்தை, s. The black arts, as witchcraft, magic, &c., when employed for injury, or destruction. துஷ்டவினை, s. As துஷ்டவித்தை. 2.
