aẕi (p. 32) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. To blight, blast, ruin, கெடுக்க. 2. To waste, injure, damage, பாழாக்க. 3. (காசிகரண்டம்.) அழிகட்டு, s. A fabrication either varbal or written to deprive another of his right, a forgery, (a law term), பொ ய்ச்சீட்டு. 2. An excuse, pretence, subterfuge, வீண்போக்கு. 3. Obstacle, impediment, hinderance, தடை. 4. Means used for counteracting magic, poison, &c. மாற்று. அழிச்சாட்டியம், s. Improper treatment, an unlawful or wicked proceeding. வாங்கின கடனைக்கொடாம லழிச்சாட்டியம் பண் ணிவருகிறான். He gives much trouble by delaying to pay the debt. அழிச்சாட்டியக்காரன், s. A turbulent fellow, a bully. அழிப்பு, v. noun. Destroying, ruining, wasting, consuming in an active sense, அழிக்கை. அழிப்பாளி, s. A spendthrift, squanderer, prodigal, profligate, ஊதாரி. 8)

[prov.] A sky-blue bird with dark brown head and large beak, சிச்சிலி, king-fisher, lit the screamer. கலகப்பிரியன், s. A seditious, rebellious, turbulent man. கலகமாய்க்கிடக்க, inf. To be in a state of rebellion and disturbance, to be out of order. கலகமாய்க்கிடக்கிறதேசம், s. A country that is in a disturbed condition. கலகமுண்டாக, inf. To rise as an insurrection. கலகமுண்டாக்க--கலகமிட--கல கம்பண்ண, inf. To make an uproar, to cause sedition, to rebel, wrangle, bicker, dispute eagerly. கலகவாயன், s. kontḷi (p. 146) க்கிறது, த்தது, க்கும், க்க, v. n. To be boisterous, to roar, swell--as the sea, &c.; to raga--as anger; to storm, to bluster; to be tumultuous, பொங்கியெழ. கொந்தளிப்பு, v. noun. Boisterousness, vehemence, rage, roaring, commotion, turbulence, bluster. கொந்தளிப்படங்க, inf. To become calm--as the boisterousness of the sea. 73)

cntṭi (p. 159) s. [from Sa. Sand'ha, joining.] Thick crowding of people going and coming, a throng, mob, சனத்திரள். 2. Bustle, stir, clamor, tumultuousness, confused noise, hubbub, uproar, இரைச்சல். (c.) கலியாணச் சந்தடியிலே தாலிகட்ட மறந்தாப்போல். As if one had forgotten, in the bustle of the wedding, to tie the tali-badge; i. e. lost sight of the main point. சந்தடிகலைகின்றது. The crowd us dispersed. சந்தடியடங்குகின்றது. The noise abates. சந்தடியாக, inf. To grow turbulent or noisy. (c.) 77)

cuṭṭi (p. 193) s. An ornament for a woman's forehead, நுதலணி. (சது.) 2. A white spot on a beast's forehead, or a serpent's head. உச்சிவெள்ளை. 3. A turbulent fellow, துஷ் டன். (c.)--Note. As a participle of சுட்டு, this word is used for குறித்து. concerning, with regard to--as அவனைச்சுட்டியுனக்கென்ன. சுட்டித்தனம், s. Mischievousness, turbulance. சுட்டியன், s.
