[com. வட்டகைமணி யம்.] Superintendence over a small tract. வட்டமரம், s. A class of jungle fruittrees--It is of two varieties, பெருவட் டம், the common வட்டம் tree; சிறுவட்டம், the வட்டம் shrub with scarlet flowers in clusters, the juice of which is pressed and with நல்லெண்ணெய், is given to children for cutaneous eruptions, வட்டமாயோடல், v. noun. A circular motion or course. வட்டமிட, inf. [sometimes வட்டம் போட.] To pass round, to hover about as a hawk; to gyrate. 2.
