To forge a great lie, பெரும்பொய்கூற. நீலங்கட்டுப்படப்பேசுகிறான். He lies greatly as he speaks. நீலச்சால், s. A blue dye-pot, a jar used in making indigo or dyeing with indigo. நீலந்தீர--நீலந்தோய்க்க, inf. To dye or tinge with blue. நீலபாஷாணம், s. A kind of prepared arsenic. நீலபுஷ்பம், s. A plant, விஷ்ணுகரந்தை. 2. A tree, எட்டிமரம். நீலப்புகார், s. Faint blue in staining cloth. நீலப்புடவை, s. Blue cloth, காங்கு. நீலமணி, s. Sapphire, as நீலக்கல். 2. To fix the blue i. e. to fabricate a story; said to be necessary for a washerman that the cloths may take the color. நீலம்பாரிக்க, inf. To become bluish as the face, eyes of teeth by poisonous bites; a part hurt by a blow; or an infant by disease, &c., சரீரம்நீலநிறமாக. 2. To be darkened, as the earth in an eclipse caused by the serpent Raku, an eclipse by the other serpent being red. நீலராசாவர்த்தம், s.
