puẕuku (p. 327) s. [also புணுகு.] Musk, civet; also the perfume of the zibet or Vivena Zibetha-Civet is of different kinds, named from the process of extraction, தட்டுப்புழுகு, civet extracted from the dried and beaten flesh of the animal; வழிப்புப்புழுகு, that which is taken out of its ventricle; வைப்புப்புழுகு, that discharged by the civet-cat. புழுகுசட்டம், s. The ventricle or sack in the civet-cat, in which the perfume is generated. புழுகுசட்டந்தட்ட, inf. To extract the civet from its bag. See சட்டந்தட்ட. புழுகுசம்பா, s. A fine fragrant kind or rice.
