kāppiym (p. 104) s. [as காவியம்.] An epic poem, containing particulars relating to அறம், பொருள், இன்பம், and வீடு, having a hero, and depicting exploits. &c., being of two kinds, the major and minor, viz:பெருங்காப்பியம், s. An epic poem complete in its parts, especially in அறம், பொருள், இன்பம், வீடு, (தண்டி.) சிறுகாப்பியம், s. An epic poem, deficient in one or more of the four main parts.
