kūrmai (p. 135) s. [adjectively. கூர், by elision.] Keenness, sharpness, point, கூர். 2. Sharpness of sight or intellect, penetration, acuteness, subtility, wisdom, நுண்மை. கூராணி, s. A sharp nail, pin, &c. கூரியது, s. That which is sharp. கூர்க்கொம்பு--கூர்ங்கொம்பு, s. A sharppointed horn. கூர்ங்கணை--கூரம்பு, s. A sharp arrow. கூர்ங்கண், s. Sharp, piercing eyes. கூர்மூக்கு, s. A sharp-pointed nose. கூர்ம்பல், s. A sharp tooth. (p.) கூரியபுத்தி, s. Sharp intellect, penetration. கூரியன், s. A sharp, clever person, கூர் மையுள்ளவன். கூர்மைகாட்ட, inf. To show acuteness of intellect. கூர்மைபார்க்க, inf. To try the sharpness of an instrument. 2. To try one's ability. கூர்மைமழுங்க--கூர்மழுங்க, inf. To be blunted--as a point, or an edge. 2. To be blunted--as the intellect; to become obtuse. கூர்மையாய்ப்பார்க்க--கூர்ந்துபார்க்க, inf. To look intently. 2. To look or examine carefully. கூர்மையில்லோன், s.
