It is like nourishing a young serpent with milk; said of a benefit rewarded by evil. பாம்புக்குத்தச்சன், s. White ants, கறை யான். பாம்புச்சட்டை, s. A snake's slough. See சட்டை. பாம்புதின்னி, appel. n. A kind of poisonous herb, the leaves of which are used with other ingredients to extract thorns--also called, முண்ணாயகி. பாம்புபிடிக்க, inf. To catch snakes. பாம்புபிடித்துக்கட்ட, inf. To twist long grass for the protection of the bank of a river during a flood. பாம்புபிணைதல், v. noun. Adhering as snakes in copulation. பாம்புப்புற்று, s. A snake's hole, commonly an old white ant's nest. பாம்புப்பெட்டி, s. A basket for carrying snakes. பாம்புமுட்டை, s. Snake's egg. பாம்பும்படமுந்தானம்பண்ண, inf.
