The marriage symbol with the wire on which it is strung as worn by the idol, the name is also given to the symbol worn by women. கம்பிகட்ட, inf. To make the border of a cloth--as a dyer. 2. There is time for gathering dry leaves for fuel, but none for warming one's self (they burn so soon); i. e. One cannot enjoy the fruit of his labor, the time of life is so short. சருகட்டை, s. A kind of leech found on trees, மரவட்டை. சருகாமை, s. The black land-turtle. சருகுணி--சருகுண்ணி, s. A woodtick. See உண்ணி. சருகுசன்னாயம், s. [prov.] A light coat of armor, இருப்புச்சுவடு. To hand the water pot to the guests to rinse their mouths, as a notice that food is ready. செம்புக்களிம்பு, s. Verdigris of copper. செம்புக்காசு-செம்புநாணயம், s. Copper coins. See காசு. செம்புப்பற்று, s. Alloy of copper in gold. செம்புமலை, s. A mountain with copper ore. செம்பூறல், v. noun. [prov.] Oxidation of copper. செம்பூறிப்போக, inf.
