To reduce, suppress, subject, restrain the senses, desires, &c., to mortify the body, curb the appetites, to pinch, stint or deny one's self, to suppress the passions, அடக்க. 2. Messenger of Yama, இயமதூதன்; (lit.) the rope-armed. 2. Yama, the god of death, நமன்; [ex பரணி, hand.] பாசமோசனம்--பாசவிமோசனம், s. Release of the soul from earthly entanglements. பாசம்வீச, inf. The darkness of illusion from மும்மலம், or the threefold defilements, ஆணவம், மாயை, and காமியம். பாசவைராக்கியம், s.
