The tenderness, weakness, &c. of an animal that has recently brought forth young, இளங்கொற்றியின்பச்சுடம்பு. ஈன்றவள்--ஈன்றாள், s. A mother, தாய். 2. Parvati--as the genetrix of the worlds, பார்வதி. (p.) ஈன்றவன்--ஈன்றான், s. A father, genetor, generator, பிதா. 2. The god Brahma--as creator, பிர்மன். (p.) ஈனல், s. An ear of corn, கதிர். (p.) 2. v. noun. Yeaning, bringing forth, ஈனுகை. ஈன்றல். A verbal in the past form of ஈனுதல. (p.) இன்சொல்லினிதீன்றல். Courteous speech yields pleasure. (குறள்.) ஈற்று, v. noun. Bringing forth, ஈனுகை. 2. s. That which is brought forth, whether animal or vegetable, ஈனப் பட்டது. தலையீற்று--முதலீற்று, s. The first calving; also the first calf, the firstling. ஓரீற்றா, s. A cow that has calved but once. 46)

uṭṟṟu (p. 59) கிறேன், உடற்றினேன், வேன், உடற்ற, v. a. To attack furiously in battle, to charge or rush on with fury, போர்செய்ய. 2. To vex, afflict, torment, வருத்த. 3. To drive back, beat away, &c., துரத்த. 4. To frustrate, thwart, scatter, disperse--as an opposing army, &c., சிதற வடிக்க. 5. To kill, destroy, exterminate, அழிக்க. 6. To discharge an arrow or other missile, பிரயோகிக்க. (p.) ஆசுகமுடற்றினாரே. They discharge arrows in rage. (பாரதம்.) வெஞ்சமமுடற்றினாரே. They carried on a destructive war. ஒல்லுங்கருமமுடற்றுபவர்கேண்மை. The friendship of those who frustrate one's designs when they are about to be accomplished. (குறள்.) உலகத்துண்ணின்றுடற்றும்பசி. Hunger will afflict the world. உடற்றல், v. noun. uṟai (p. 68) க்கிறது, த்தது, க்கும், க்க, v. n. To be pungent, biting, sharp, கார்க்க. 2. To burn--as the body from exposure to the sun --the mouth, or a sore from any thing pungent--the back after flogging, &c., எரிய. 3. To affect acutely, cut to the quick--as a blow, rebuke, a sarcasm, &c.; to impress, தாக்க. 4. To become firm, fast, steadfast, decided--as the mind, அழுந்த. உறைக்கமழைபெய்தது. It rained effectively. என்மேலேசூடுறைக்கிறது. The heat burns or scorches me. நாணுறைப்ப. So as to be touched with shame. (நீதிநெறி.) உப்புறைக்கிறது.
