[prop. கட்டிதிர ள.] To form or swell--as a tumor. கட்டுத்தையல், s. A kind of firm sewing. கட்டுத்தோணி--கட்டுப்படகு, s. A dhoney or vessel of which the seams are sewed together. கட்டுப்பட, inf. To yield to, to submit, be influenced by, be brought under the power of, be overcome by, கட் டுக்குள்ளடங்க. 2. To be bound by spells or otherwise restrained, மந்திரமுதலியவற் றாற்கட்டுப்பட. 3. To be constipated--as the system; to be obstructed--as waters, as humors in the system, blood, urine, menstruation, &c., தடைப்பட. ஒருமயிரினாலேகட்டுப்படுவான். He may be bound by a single hair; i. e. he will be easily persuaded or prevailed upon. கட்டுப்படுத்த, inf.
