A small halo denotes rain to be distant, a large one, indicates it to be near. சேராச்சேர்த்தி, s. [prov.] A disproportioned match, not a pair; inequality, as of a married couple, of ploughing bullocks. palankeen bearers, &c., இசைவின்மை. 2. Bad company, associating with improper persons beneath one's rank, &c., தகா தகூட்டுறவு. 3. Confusion, disorder, தாறு மாறு. சேருந்துறை, s. The destined port, the place to which one is bound. 2. (fig.) A person of rank, or dignity, worthy to be associated with in marriage, &c., one able to assist, &c. சேர்ந்தகைமை--சேர்ந்தலை, s. [prov.] Promiscuously, altogether, in confusion, topsy turvy, higgledy piggledy, கூட்டாக்குழப் பமாய். சேரும்பாடுமாய்விழ, inf. To fall promiscuously on each other, as people in a quarrel, or as trees in a storm, &c. சேர்கால், s. [prov.] The hampered feet of beasts, தளைகால். சேர்காலிட, inf. To hamper. சேர்ந்த, (past rel. part.) Joined, united, belonging to, &c. அந்தநிலமவனைச்சேர்ந்தது. That land is his. சேர்ந்தமுதல், s. Stock. See முதல். சேர்ந்தவன், appel. n. An applicant for aid. 2. A person under one's protection, a dependant. 3. A relative. 4. A partisan, an ally, associate. இவன்நம்மைச்சேர்ந்தவன். He is on our side. சேர்ந்தார், s. Friends, partisans, connexions. 2.
