Of the running தும்பை, there are two species, கறித்தும்பை or காய்த்தும்பை. a fruit bearing தும்பை and பூத்தும்பை, a flowering creeper. தும்பைப்பூப்போலேசாதம். Rice as white and fine as தும்பை flowers. தும்பைக்காய், s. The edible fruit of the தும்பை. தும்பைக்கொடி, s. The தும்பை creeper. தும்பைப்பாரை, s. The large தும்பை fish. தும்பைமாலைசூட, inf.
