If water be beaten it will not divide; i. e. relations, though offended with each other, will reunite. நீர்முகத்தழுக்கில்லை. [also நிராஞ் சனம்.] Holding a lighted wick in water in which turmeric and lime are dissolved, and margosa leaves placed; and waving it round the idol, ஓர்ஆலாத்தி. 2. Waving lighted, sacrificial grass around ghee, and casting it into the sacred fire; (some give other definitions), சுத்திக ரிக்குமோர்சடங்கு. நீராடல், v. noun. Bathing, playing in water, ஸ்தானஞ்செய்தல். 2. A ripening cocoa-nut in which the water sounds when shaken; also நீராடற்றேங்காய். 3. One of the ten parts of juvenile poetry of the female class.
