Litter for a horse, or other beast; sleeping place or bed of a wild beast, a lair, விலங்கின்படுக்கை. 4. Straw, olas, boards, &c., placed in a boat to preserve goods from the bilge-water, வள்ளத்தின்அடியில்பரப்பும்புல். 5. Olas, or straw laid down as a bed on which to place reaped corn, tobacco, palmyra fruit, earthen ware, &c., நெற்படுக்கைமுத லியன. (c.) படுக்கைபோடுதல், v. noun. Preparing a bed, putting litter for a horse, &c. படுக்கைவீடு--படுக்கையறை, s. A sleeping room, a bedchamber. படுக்கைமரம், s. Boards laid loosely in a boat, under the cargo. படுக்கைவிரித்தல், v. noun. Spreading open, or unfolding, a bed or mattress. படுத்தபாய், s. The mat on which one has lain. படுத்தபூமி--படுத்ததரை, s. Levelled earth. படுத்தலோசை, s. [in gram.] Cadence, the grave accent. 98)
